Answers come from community members. They may be incomplete or out of date, and contributor labels such as “Local Contributor” are self-declared. Please verify important details — especially transport schedules, prices, opening hours, visa rules, weather, safety and health information.

Lanka Mate is an independent community. It is not a government, tourism-board or emergency service. In an emergency, call 119 (police), 1990 (ambulance) or the Tourist Police on 1912.
